South West Plantation Firewood is run by Danegeld Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 91 050 219 326). This page explains what personal information this website collects when you order from us, why, and who else sees it. It is a plain-language summary; if you have a question or want us to correct or delete something, email sales@swpfirewood.com.au.

What we collect

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address (or that you will collect), any notes you add, and what you ordered.
  • If you set up a standing order: the same details, plus your sign-in email so you can manage it. You sign in with a six-digit code we email you; there is no password.
  • If you use the Message us form: your name, email address and message.

How we use it

We use your details to deliver or prepare your order, to email you your confirmation, tax invoice and delivery updates, to contact you if there is a problem, and to keep the business records the law requires (such as tax invoices). We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails.

Card payments

Card payments are taken by Square. Your card number is typed into a Square form and goes to Square; it never reaches our website or our records. We keep only a reference to the payment, the card brand and the last four digits. If you ask for a standing order to be paid by card, Square keeps the card on file for you and we keep only Square's reference to it. Square's privacy policy applies to the information you give it.

Who else sees it

  • Square, for card payments.
  • Our address lookup and route planning services, which receive the delivery address you type so we can check it and plan the delivery run.
  • Our email provider, which delivers the emails we send you.
  • Our web hosting provider, where this website and its records are stored.

Cookies

We use one cookie that is essential for the shop to work: it remembers your cart and protects forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Maps on the Location and delivery page are loaded from a map provider, which can see your IP address when the map loads.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for at least the period required for tax purposes. You can ask us to remove other information, such as a standing order you no longer need or a message you sent us.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected or removed. Email us at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
